The Human Bean Hours: Opening, Closing and Drive-Thru Times by Location
Quick Answer: The Human Bean does not have one chainwide operating schedule because each franchise location sets its own hours. Most stores open at 5:00 AM Monday through Saturday and 6:00 AM on Sunday. However, some Southern Oregon locations open as early as 4:45 AM. Closing times generally range from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Always check your local store before visiting.
The Human Bean is a drive-thru coffee franchise known for serving customers throughout the morning and day. Its early opening times make it a convenient stop for commuters, while evening closing times vary depending on the location.
If you are planning a visit, knowing the general Human Bean hours can help you decide when to stop. However, the schedule in Medford, Oregon, may differ from the one in Phoenix, Arizona, or Lexington, Kentucky. This guide covers typical daily hours, opening and closing times, Sunday and Saturday schedules, drive-thru hours, holiday information, and examples from locations across the United States.
Human Bean Hours: Daily Opening and Closing Times
The Human Bean generally opens early in the morning and closes in the evening. Most locations follow a schedule of approximately 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM on weekdays and Saturday, although Sunday hours are often slightly shorter.
The following table summarizes the typical schedule and the verified range across the locations reviewed. These are reference times, not guaranteed operating hours for every franchise.
| Day | Typical Opening Time | Typical Closing Time | Verified Range Across Locations |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monday | 5:00 AM | 8:00 PM | 4:45 AM–9:00 PM |
| Tuesday | 5:00 AM | 8:00 PM | 4:45 AM–9:00 PM |
| Wednesday | 5:00 AM | 8:00 PM | 4:45 AM–9:00 PM |
| Thursday | 5:00 AM | 8:00 PM | 4:45 AM–9:00 PM |
| Friday | 5:00 AM | 8:00 PM | 4:45 AM–9:00 PM |
| Saturday | 5:00 AM | 8:00 PM | 4:45 AM–9:00 PM |
| Sunday | 6:00 AM | 7:00 PM | 4:45 AM–9:00 PM |
Important: The opening and closing ranges represent the earliest and latest times found across the reviewed store schedules, not a promise that every location operates throughout that entire range. Most stores open between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM and close between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Some locations follow different schedules, including stores that maintain identical hours throughout the week.
Human Bean Saturday Hours
Human Bean Saturday hours commonly follow the weekday schedule, with many locations opening at 5:00 AM and closing around 8:00 PM. However, some stores start later on weekends. For example, the Phoenix location on North 19th Avenue opens at 6:00 AM on Saturday rather than its weekday opening time of 5:00 AM.
Weekend schedules are determined locally, so do not assume your nearest store follows the same Saturday hours as its Monday-through-Friday schedule.
Human Bean Sunday Hours
Sunday hours often differ from weekday schedules. A common pattern is opening at 6:00 AM and closing between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Some locations, however, maintain their regular weekday schedules on Sunday.
For example, Medford, Oregon, operates from 4:45 AM to 8:00 PM every day, while Rocklin, California, follows a 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily schedule. Winter Springs, Florida, and McAllen, Texas, also maintain identical daily hours.
Other stores make smaller Sunday adjustments. Grants Pass, Oregon, keeps its 4:45 AM opening time but closes at 7:00 PM instead of 8:00 PM. These differences make checking the individual location especially important when planning a Sunday visit.
What Time Does The Human Bean Open?
The Human Bean typically opens at 5:00 AM from Monday through Saturday and around 6:00 AM on Sunday. However, actual opening times vary by franchise. Verified location schedules show that some stores open as early as 4:45 AM, while others do not begin operating until 6:00 AM.
Southern Oregon has some of the earliest-opening locations in the franchise. Stores in Grants Pass, Medford, and Central Point follow the 4:45 AM early-opening pattern. This is earlier than the 5:00 AM starting time commonly reported in general coffee-shop hours guides.
Here are some verified opening-time examples:
| Location | Monday–Saturday | Sunday |
|---|---|---|
| Grants Pass, OR | 4:45 AM | 4:45 AM |
| Medford, OR | 4:45 AM | 4:45 AM |
| Warrenton, OR | 5:00 AM | 6:00 AM |
| Pasadena, MD | 5:30 AM | 6:00 AM |
| Lexington, KY | 5:00 AM | 6:00 AM |
| Phoenix, AZ (N 19th Ave) | 5:00 AM weekdays | 6:00 AM |
| McAllen, TX | 6:00 AM | 6:00 AM |
Does The Human Bean Open Early?
Yes. Many Human Bean locations open before 6:00 AM, making them suitable for people who need an early-morning drive-thru stop. Several Southern Oregon stores begin operating at 4:45 AM, while 5:00 AM is a common weekday opening time elsewhere.
If you need to visit before your regular work commute, confirm the exact opening time of your nearest location. A store that opens at 6:00 AM may not be suitable for an earlier stop, even if another nearby franchise begins serving customers at 5:00 AM.
What Time Does The Human Bean Close?
The Human Bean generally closes between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM, depending on the location. Many stores finish operating around 7:00 PM or 8:00 PM, while some close earlier and others remain open until 9:00 PM.
For example, the Warrenton, Oregon, location closes at 6:00 PM every day. The Lexington, Kentucky, location closes at 8:00 PM Monday through Saturday and 7:00 PM Sunday. McAllen, Texas, has one of the latest verified closing times, operating until 9:00 PM daily.
Here are a few examples of how closing times differ:
| Location | Weekday Closing | Weekend Closing |
|---|---|---|
| Warrenton, OR | 6:00 PM | 6:00 PM |
| Pasadena, MD | 7:00 PM | 7:00 PM |
| Grants Pass, OR | 8:00 PM | 7:00 PM Sunday |
| Medford, OR | 8:00 PM | 8:00 PM |
| Rocklin, CA | 8:00 PM | 8:00 PM |
| McAllen, TX | 9:00 PM | 9:00 PM |
| Winter Springs, FL | 8:00 PM | 8:00 PM |
If you are planning a visit in the evening, avoid relying on the latest closing time as a chainwide rule. Your nearest store may close several hours earlier. Checking its daily schedule before leaving can help prevent an unnecessary trip.
Human Bean Drive-Thru Hours
Human Bean drive-thru hours are the same as the posted operating hours for the individual store. The official location pages publish one hours block per location rather than separate schedules for the drive-thru and other services.
For example, if a location lists its operating hours as 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM, those are the posted hours for its drive-thru operation as well. There is no separate chainwide drive-thru timetable that customers need to follow.
However, temporary circumstances can affect service. Staffing shortages, maintenance, severe weather, or local events may cause a location to adjust its operating schedule. If you are arriving close to opening or closing time, checking directly with the store is a sensible precaution.
Other coffee franchises also have location-specific operating schedules. You can compare local schedules with DAZBOG Coffee hours when planning an early-morning coffee stop.
How to Check Your Local Human Bean Hours
The most reliable way to find Human Bean locations hours is to check the official store locator. Each location has its own listing with its address, operating schedule, and other store information. You can search by city, state, or ZIP code to find the nearest available location.
Follow these steps to confirm the correct schedule:
- Open the official locator: Visit The Human Bean official store locator to find nearby franchise locations.
- Enter your location: Search using your city, state, or ZIP code.
- Select the correct store: Check the address carefully, especially if multiple locations appear nearby.
- Review the daily schedule: Look at the opening and closing times for the specific day you plan to visit.
- Call ahead if necessary: Contact the store if you need confirmation during a holiday, severe weather event, or temporary schedule change.
Google Maps and other mapping services can also help you identify nearby stores and view their listed hours. However, online listings may not immediately reflect temporary changes. Delivery-app operating times may also differ from the store’s actual schedule.
If you are searching for human bean hours today, select the exact location and check the schedule for the current day rather than relying on a general weekly estimate. The same approach applies when searching for human bean open now. A store’s regular schedule does not necessarily confirm that it is currently serving customers.
Best Times to Visit The Human Bean
The best time to visit depends on your daily routine and the operating schedule of your nearest location. Since individual franchises have different hours, there is no single ideal visiting time for every store.
Consider these general scheduling tips when planning your visit:
- Early morning: If you need a stop before work, look for a location that opens at 4:45 AM or 5:00 AM. Confirm the opening time instead of assuming every store starts at the same hour.
- Mid-morning: Visiting after the earliest morning commute may offer more flexibility if you do not need to arrive right at opening time.
- Afternoon: Afternoon visits are generally easier to plan because most locations remain open during this part of the day. Still, check the individual store’s schedule.
- Early evening: Some stores remain open until 8:00 PM or 9:00 PM, but others close at 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM. Confirm the closing time before setting out.
- Weekends: Saturday and Sunday schedules can differ from weekday hours, particularly at locations that open later or close earlier on Sundays.

Why Sunday Schedules Can Be Different
Sunday is not automatically a shorter operating day at every Human Bean location. Some stores open one hour later, some close one hour earlier, and others maintain exactly the same schedule seven days a week.
For a clearer comparison, consider these verified examples:
- Identical daily schedules: Medford, Oregon, operates from 4:45 AM to 8:00 PM every day. Rocklin, California, operates from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily. Winter Springs, Florida, and McAllen, Texas, also maintain the same hours throughout the week.
- Later Sunday opening: Warrenton, Oregon, opens at 5:00 AM Monday through Saturday and 6:00 AM Sunday. Lexington, Kentucky, follows a similar opening adjustment.
- Earlier Sunday closing: Grants Pass, Oregon, opens at 4:45 AM every day but closes at 7:00 PM Sunday instead of 8:00 PM on other days.
- Weekend opening adjustments: Phoenix, Arizona, opens at 5:00 AM on weekdays and 6:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday. Colorado Springs, Colorado, also starts at 6:00 AM on weekends instead of 5:00 AM on weekdays.
These examples show why checking the actual location schedule is more useful than assuming every franchise follows a standard Sunday timetable.

Human Bean Holiday Hours
Human Bean holiday hours vary by location. The company does not publish one chainwide holiday schedule confirming that every franchise opens or closes at the same time on major holidays. Individual franchise operators determine their holiday operating schedules.
This means customers should not assume that regular weekday or weekend hours apply during holidays. A location may adjust its schedule, operate for different hours, or close temporarily, but these possibilities should not be treated as confirmed policies for every store.
Is The Human Bean Open on Christmas?
There is no confirmed chainwide policy stating whether The Human Bean is open or closed on Christmas. The Christmas Day schedule must be checked with the individual location. If you are asking, “is the human bean open on christmas?” the safest answer is to contact your nearest store rather than rely on a general holiday schedule.
Human Bean Thanksgiving Hours
Human Bean Thanksgiving hours are also determined by individual locations. There is no official chainwide confirmation establishing a universal opening time, closing time, or closure for Thanksgiving. Check your local store’s holiday listing or call ahead to verify whether it will be operating on that day.
The same advice applies to other holidays throughout the year. Regular operating hours should never be treated as guaranteed holiday hours. Staffing, local decisions, weather, and other temporary circumstances may affect the schedule.
